Invitation of international scholars (Dr. Jen-Jer Jaw)

On February 22, 2024, I attended the KSGPC's Invitation of international scholars.

This year, Professor Jen-Jer Jaw from the Department of Civil Engineering at National Taiwan University gave the lecture.

Professor Jaw is the Chief Editor of the Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing and the President of the Chinese Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. He was also a member of my dissertation committee.

The defense was conducted via Zoom, so this was the first time I had met him in person. Despite the three years that had passed, he immediately recognized me and warmly greeted me.

After lunch, I had the pleasure of visiting Namsan Tower and Kyobo Bookstore with Professor Jaw, and we enjoyed a wonderful time together.
