2023 Blast-Resistant Door Explosion Test

On November 3, 2023, I visited Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, for an experiment related to the ongoing research project, "2023 Blast-Resistant Door Explosion Test".

We tested whether the blast-resistant door could perform its function under a controlled explosion of a certain scale and examined the displacement of the door using LiDAR point clouds.

Although displacement can be measured using a general C2C algorithm, we employed the M3C2 algorithm to obtain more precise estimates of the deformation's size and direction.

After completing the security review, we will organize the relevant data and publish the findings in a paper for sharing.
